The Heartsongs Band
Without whom none of this would have happened!!
![]() | Frances Hooper, or 'Frances the Flautiest' as we like to call her! Frances has an amazing gift for harmonies, whether sung or being played on her flute. Hearing Frances play is like hearing the Holy Spirit! Frances has been one of my top encouragers regarding the production of Heartsongs and I'm really grateful for everything she's brought to it. |
| Anna Matus- one ridiculously talented individual! Anna's cello playing brought such a wonderful sound to the album. She also sang a few vocal harmonies and was roped into playing the guitar at one point! (Transporting a cello on the train shows real commitment!!). | ![]() |
![]() | Rachel Rose wanted to be involved because she loves my songs and happened to be free that weekend. As well as her vocals she brought her sunny personality to the recording session and kept us all going! |
| Fiona 'Foo' Furman has been my biggest fan and most fervent supporter for years- before I even wrote songs! As well as her beautiful voice and percussion skills, Foo brought her marketing and creative expertise to the Heartsongs project. I owe her many, many thanks! | ![]() |
![]() | Mags Reilly played her violin with a bunch of people she'd never met before, for someone she didn't know! How generous! Thank you Mags for being so brave! |
| Just when I was looking for a keyboard player David Wood came up to me at a conference and said he wanted to be doing more with his music. He was, literally, an answer to prayer! David really allows the Spirit to work through his music and I'm very glad that he was involved with Heartsongs. | ![]() |
![]() | Richard Ball is an old friend from university. This is the second time he's been roped into recording a project I've been involved with. I'm very grateful to him for giving up his time, lugging all his equipment to Northampton, sharing his technical expertise and being very patient throughout! |
